Reach nearby buyers
Show up in front of households specifically looking for local weekly food—not a broad national audience.
Founding farm program
Acre & Home is recruiting 3–5 nearby farms for a hands-on pilot that helps local households order current farm products through one clear weekly process.
What Acre & Home does
The goal is not to replace your farm stand or farmers market. It is to make you easier to find and easier to buy from between market days.
Show up in front of households specifically looking for local weekly food—not a broad national audience.
Use a defined ordering cutoff so you can harvest, bake, pack, or stage confirmed orders.
Your farm name, story, pricing, products, and fulfillment rules stay visible throughout the customer experience.
No setup fee, monthly fee, or marketplace commission during the agreed pilot period. Any later pricing would be disclosed and accepted before charges begin.
Dalton helps enter your farm profile and first products.
Nothing is promised to customers unless you approve it.
The pilot exists to prove value for both sides.
Best pilot fit
The strongest initial partners sell products households can purchase weekly or biweekly.
Sweet corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, greens, herbs, and seasonal fruit.
Properly permitted and handled products with reliable recurring supply.
Sourdough, baked goods, honey, jams, and other compliant direct-to-consumer products.
The first meeting
No technical sales presentation. Dalton wants to learn how you sell today, where ordering becomes frustrating, and whether a small pilot could produce measurable value.
What you produce, when it is available, average order size, and current sales channels.
Missed messages, uncertain demand, inventory updates, pickup confusion, or weak weekday sales.
Agree on a few products, one ordering window, and a simple way to judge whether the pilot worked.
Important from day one
Before live ordering, each seller will be responsible for applicable permits, product labeling, safe storage, temperature control, and direct-to-consumer compliance. Acre & Home will document verification, but it will not represent that a seller is exempt without evidence.
This website is not legal advice. Requirements vary by product and operation; farms should confirm obligations with the Indiana Department of Health, Indiana State Egg Board, USDA, and local authorities as applicable.

Farm questions
No. Acre & Home is intended as an additional local sales and discovery channel, not an exclusive arrangement.
You do. The pilot should never advertise a product, quantity, pickup time, or price you have not approved.
Not in the pickup-first pilot. The preferred first model is direct fulfillment by the farm at an approved pickup location. Any future aggregation or delivery model would require separate operational and compliance planning.
Approved founding farms pay no setup fee, monthly fee, or marketplace commission during the written pilot period. Post-pilot pricing would be presented before any paid service begins.
